How do I link a dealer to my system?

Linking a professional to your device helps ensure you receive the right support, accurate service history, and proactive maintenance alerts for your system.


How to Link an Expert

Follow these steps in the app:

  • Select and open your device from the home screen.

  • Tap Settings (upper-right corner).

  • Select My Dealer.

  • Tap Change Dealer.

  • Enter your ZIP code.

  • Tap Show Dealers.

  • If you don’t see your dealer, select Expand search to view more options.

  • Tap the name yof the professional you want to link to your device.

  • Tap on Confirm This Dealer.

Once selected, your device will be linked to that dealer.


Enable Remote Diagnostics

After selecting your local expert, you will be guided to the Data Processing screen. This allows your professional to view your system’s "vital signs" without needing an immediate home visit.

  1. Grant Access: On the Data Processing screen, scroll to the Permissions section.

  2. Enable System Status: Switch the toggle for View System Status Information to On.

  3. Confirm Changes: Tap the Complete button at the bottom of the screen to save your settings.

Note on Visibility vs. Notifications: Enabling "Service Partner Permissions" grants your dealer visibility into your system's performance. This is independent of your own notification preferences; you can choose to let your dealer monitor your system even if you prefer to keep your own mobile notifications turned off.

Why should I link a dealer?

Linking a local expert helps ensure faster support and accurate service. Because your system communicates directly with your professional, they can see exactly what the hardware is reporting, distinguishing physical equipment needs from simple software updates.

Does sharing data affect my personal notification settings?

No. Data sharing (visibility) is separate from your personal alert preferences. You can allow your dealer to see system status information while keeping your own mobile notifications turned off.

I don’t see my dealer. What should I do?

Try selecting Expand search area after entering your ZIP code. If your dealer still isn’t listed, confirm the ZIP code or contact your dealer directly.

Can I change my dealer later?

Yes. You can change your dealer at any time by following the same steps and selecting a different dealer.

My expert mentioned they can’t access my system details. What should I do?

First, verify your permissions by visiting the Data Processing screen in your app. Ensure that the toggle for View System Status Information is switched to On. This is the digital "key" that allows your data to be shared securely.

If your permissions are already active, your professional may simply need to refresh their expert service view. This allows them to analyze the equipment’s "vital signs" remotely, which helps ensure that if a visit is eventually required, they arrive prepared.

Does linking a dealer affect how my system runs?

No. Linking a dealer does not change how your system operates. It only affects support, service, and alert sharing.
