If your thermostat or HVAC system isn’t responding as expected, rebooting can often resolve temporary issues, such as connectivity loss, unresponsive controls, or syncing delays.

This article will guide you through your options and help you determine the right reboot method based on your system model.

Consider rebooting if:

• Your thermostat is unresponsive or frozen

• The app shows your system as disconnected

• Schedules or zone settings aren’t applying

• You’ve recently changed your Wi-Fi network

Reboot Methods for Infinity B and Infinity C

  1. Navigate to the Home Screen, you should see the month and day at the top of the display.

  2. Press and hold your finger on the left side of the screen for 15 seconds.

  3. The thermostat will display 'Please Wait' and will restart and reconnect to the network.

  4. Wait 15–30 minutes for the system to fully reboot and reconnect.

  5. Check the SmartHome app to confirm your thermostat is back online.

  2. Carefully remove it from the wall and wait 30 seconds.
