Heading out of town? The Vacation setting in the SmartHome app helps you maintain energy-efficient temperatures while you’re away, without altering your regular schedule. You can easily create, update, or end a vacation period directly in the app.
Note: Vacation Mode is supported for Carrier's Infinity System Controls only.

How to Add a Vacation Setting
Open the SmartHome app and sign in.
From the Home screen, tap your thermostat or select a device.
Tap Schedule in the bottom right corner.
Tap the Vacation icon at the top left of the screen.
Set your start and end date/time, then tap Confirm.
Adjust your preferred temperature, then tap Confirm. Repeat the same for fan and humidity preferences.
Tap Schedule in the top right corner to save.
🕒 Vacation mode must be scheduled for a minimum of 24 hours.

How to Edit or End Vacation Mode Early
Vacation mode will automatically expire at the scheduled end time, but you can make changes or end it early at any time.
Open the SmartHome app.
Tap your thermostat or selected device.
Tap Schedule in the bottom right corner.
Tap the Vacation icon.
Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner to edit vacation details.
Tap End Vacation at the bottom of the screen to cancel the setting early.
