Do my family members need to create their accounts to use this app?

How to Share App Access with Your Household

To keep your entire home in sync, the SmartHome app currently uses a shared household login. At this time, the app does not support separate, individual accounts or profiles. To give a family member access to your system, they will simply log in using your primary account credentials.

How to get everyone connected:

  1. Have your trusted household members download the SmartHome app on their personal smartphones.

  2. Provide them with your primary account email and password to log in.

  3. Once logged in, they will have full access to view and control the same devices, schedules, and climate settings.

What to keep in mind:

  • Shared Controls: Because everyone is sharing a single household view, any change made by one person (like adjusting the temperature or pausing a schedule) will update the system for everyone else.

  • Security & Trust: Since anyone with the app can fully control your equipment, we highly recommend only sharing your login with trusted household members and using a strong, unique password for your SmartHome account.
